This policy explains what personal information Plant Nook Journal (plantnookjournal.blog, “we”) collects, why, and what choices you have. The site is written mainly for readers in the United States and is read worldwide.
Who runs this site

What we collect and why
- Contact messages: the name, email and message you send us, used only to answer you. Kept for up to 12 months.
- Comments (if comments are open): name, email, comment and IP address, used to publish and moderate comments and to prevent spam. Kept while the comment is published.
- Analytics: we use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read. It uses cookies and collects device, browser and approximate location data. We do not use it to identify you.
- Server logs: our host, Hostinger, keeps technical logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security.
Cookies
Essential cookies keep the site working. Analytics and affiliate cookies help us understand traffic and earn commissions. Where the law requires it (for example for visitors in the EU or UK), these cookies only run after you agree. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.

Who we share data with
Only service providers that run the site: Hostinger (hosting) and Google (analytics). We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Your rights
- United States: depending on your state (for example California, Virginia or Colorado), you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to correct or delete it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We don’t sell or share it, but you can still make any of these requests.
- EU, UK and other countries: you can ask to access, correct, delete or move your data, object to or restrict its use, and withdraw consent at any time. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
To make a request, email info@plantnookjournal.blog. We will reply within 30 days and will not treat you differently for asking.
Children
This site is not aimed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

We will update this page if our practices change and show the new date at the top.
